Bio

Dylan Soto

Dylan Soto is a twenty-three year old drummer/musician from the Central Valley of California.

Dylan began playing drums at the age of six. He is also an accomplished guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter.

"I started playing and teaching myself drums at six years old and was in my first band by the time I was seven. After playing in the local scene of Modesto, CA for about five years I picked up a guitar and started teaching myself chords, rhythms, and different tunings. I wrote my first ever song at the age of fourteen and then began to try and sing. By the time I was eighteen, I could sing backup and harmonies in my band while playing drums. A year later I released my first solo single "Broken Glass" in August of 2020. Following that was my debut EP release "Mistake". All instruments and vocals are done by me, and is all written by me.

In 2020 I founded SUNDUST alongside three of my best friends, and we released a self-titled full-length studio record in which I co-wrote and played multiple instruments on.

In 2022, I was asked to play with The Hot Summers, a Los Angeles based outfit consisting of Shane Tassart (Best of Seven) and Mick Sweda (King Kobra, BulletBoys). A phenomenal experience with many connections made!

Since January of 2023, I am now a full-time touring/songwriting member of 80's hard rock band Babylon A.D. We just released a studio album on Perris Records titled "Rome Wasn't Built In A Day". We have worldwide tour plans through 2025!"
